Rhondda 1st Team  v Rhondda 2nd Team

Saturday 13 May 2006 saw the much anticipated clash between the two Men's teams.  After a hard-fought match the 1st team ended up 8-1 winners.

Here are some action shots from the match.  Do you see anyone you know?

Rhondda Mens's first team set the Club off to a winning start by beating Bridgend 3 at Bridgend in Rhondda's first game of the season.

In fact it was a story of an 'English'man, a Frenchman and 4 Welshmen  (all Davies'), pictured right, who together produced a very good 6-3 result.

Incidentally, the picture was taken before the match started.

The Frenchman is Nicolas Bazac-Billaud (first on the left) - a new recruit to the Club; the 'English'man (last on the right) is Matthew English (actually Welsh), and the 4 Davies' are:- Marc, Daniel, John and Rhys (left to right).  The game marked a 'comeback' for Daniel Davies who performed tirelessly and very skillfully throughout the match.  Nicolas (with Rhys Davies) won all three of his matches and should help strengthen the Rhondda first team squad.
